This year we are partners with the organizers of DISH (Digital Strategies for Heritage), the international conference about digital strategies in heritage. The conference will be held on the 7th and 8th of December in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. The key goals of the DISH conference are inspiration, knowledge, skills, innovation and networking.
The main theme is Money and Power. We will actively participate in the conference activities by tackling topics such as: strategic collaboration between members of expertise centers and conference fora for supporting innovations in cultural heritage institutions, as well as knowledge exchange between stakeholders in cultural heritage field. Since there will not be a NODEM conference this year, we would like to invite the NODEM community to meet us in the Netherlands at our partners’ conference – DISH. You may remember the DISH organizers from our last year’s NODEM conference in Warsaw “Engaging Spaces – Interpretation, Design and Digital Strategies”. At NODEM 2014 they held a keynote presentation “The Impact of Digital Heritage” (Marco de Niet, DEN Foundation, Netherlands & Harry Verwayen, Europeana, Netherlands), chaired a parallel session and organized a workshop on business model innovation (Marco de Niet & Robert Gillesse, DEN Foundation, Netherlands).
