3D Webservice at Stockholm City Museum

The 3D Webservice is a research project supported by ar It offers the cultural heritage communities an easy and low cost way of turning images of scenes and objects into 3D models.

 

The EPOCH 3D Webservice application was implemented at Stockholm City Museum, where staff were trained how to use it. This was followed up by an evaluation in March, 2007.

The Following Workshop where held in the development process of the webservice application:

  • Workshop and concept development in relation to the exhibits with the Living History Forum —  7th of November
  • Seminar with Kunskapsgruppen Museifönstret (Museum of Far Eastern Antiquities) Stockholm City Museum — 8th of November
  • Mini seminar— The Stockholm Institute of Education, 9th of November
  • Mini seminar with The Museum of National Antiquities, 16th of November
  • Presentation of the exhibition — The Swedish Police Museum, 22nd of November
  • Presentation of the exhibition— Veronica Sekules, Sainbury Centre for Visual Arts, University of East Anglia, Norwich, 26th of November
