- Workshops at the Royal College of Art, London, 2015
A series of workshops were held during the Work In Progress and Final Show at the Royal College of Art in London by Laura Gottlieb. The workshops used the ritual context and objects of a teatime to engage participants with diverse philosophical discussions. The workshops are in the realm of public pedagogy, exploring ways of introducing creative and critical content to public spaces. Read here for more information.

Halina Gottlieb held a seminar called “Bridge Design Research with Museum Studies towards the Development of Digital, Interpretative Interfaces and Future Strategies for Museums” at the Politechnico di Milano, during a Pdh course event Cultural Heritage Landscapes. An event coorganized by Humanities Design Lab.
- NORDES Conference ‘Engaging Artifacts’, 2009
Dagny Stuedahl, Marjo Mäenpää and Halina Gottlieb held a workshop at NORDES 2009, titled “Engaging Artifacts in Cultural Heritage”.
Abstract: Artefacts and objects have an important position in museums and cultural heritage institutions. Here artefacts are the authentic objects which audience could have an experience of historical phenomena or of art works. Digital media and communication technologies bring new perspectives into the field that involves new practices both among the audience and visitors and among the different departments of the institutions. Well-designed, inclusive artefacts could increase accessibility and participation in various ways in cultural heritage issues. The workshop will explore various ways of building engagement with cultural heritage issues and sites.
- Seminar at Swedish Forum for Cultural Affairs, 2008
Themed “Knowledge Transfer” the seminar was held as a part of the Swedish museums’ annual spring meeting. The event held a series of presentations, lunch and to a show room with products and prototypes from the Interactive Institute and companies in the forefront of Sweden’s digital cultural heritage sector. The DHC/The Interactive Institute publication — KNOW-HOW Books — was distributed, as it serves to instruct, inspire and guide you, step by step, through the design, development and realization of digital installations and applications for the museum sector.
