Dr. Halina Gottlieb is the founder and CEO of Digital Heritage Center Sweden. As an art historian, digital curator and knowledge transfer facilitator, she works towards establishing a sustainable exchange of knowledge, practices and skills in the field of digital heritage between academia, the IT sector and creative industries.
Halina has been a member of the Executive Committee of EPOCH (European Network of Excellence in Cultural Heritage), and the Swedish representative for the EPOCH Network of Expertise Centres (2004–2008). She is also the founding director of the NODEM Conference Series (Nordic Digital Excellence in Museums) and co-founder of the DIHA (Digital Intangible Heritage in Asia) interdisciplinary research cluster.
Silvia is an energetic professional in communications specializing in coordinating cultural projects and international conferences as well as writing content for websites, social media, blogs and emails. Silvia is a motivated self-starter, able to take initiative and work in a fast-paced environment, passionate about helping and connecting people.
With a Master’s Degree in Public Relations and Advertising and four years of work experience in communications, Silvia helps us manage our internal/external communication, plan and coordinate projects, and facilitate collaborations with our partners.
Chris is an IT specialist and quality manager with a Bachelor’s Degree with Honors in Software Engineering from Brighton University and a Master’s Degree in Mathematics from Stockholm University and has worked in the fields of IT and digital heritage since 2005. He is excited about the potential of computational technology in the context of heritage institutions supervising technical solutions in our projects and maintains our IT infrastructure.
Currently a researcher at Lund University, Cognitive Science (Sweden), Gabriela-Alina Sauciuc earned a PhD in Cognitive Semiotics (Århus University, Denmark, 2012) and a PhD in Romance Philology (University of Bucharest, Romania, 2007). Her research is generally sparked by an interest in understanding the nature-culture interplay in the shaping of human perceptions, conceptions and various forms of expression. She has conducted research involving human adults, children and non-human primates, accumulating experience in a wide range of research methodologies. As a DHC-affiliate, she has collaborated in projects such as NODEM, The Knowledge Triangle, being also one of the founders of Digital Intangible Heritage of Europe (DIHE).
Debbie is a project manager with a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree with Honors in International Business from European Business School London. She completed her Bachelor’s degree during her Erasmus exchange at Stockholm University and École Supérieure du Commerce Extérieur in Paris. She drives processes and engages in interdisciplinary and inter-sectorial projects.
