Visitors studies and concept development for the art exhibition ‘Fake and Real’ (Falskt och Äkta) at Nationalmuseum, Stockholm was conducted in collaboration with The Museum of Pure Form, Nationalmuseum and Uppsala University. A combination of research methods were used to gauge knowledge of the target group and their understanding of and interest in the subject.
Two seminars were held at the National Museum of Stockholm with Professor Massimo Bergamasco, PERCO, Scuola Superiore Sant’ Anna, Pisa and with Professor Gunnar Jansson, from the Department of Psychology, Uppsala University. Prof. Bergamasco´s seminar was entitled: The Museum of Pure Form and Prof. Jansson´s: How do we perceive virtual sculptures via haptic displays.
This followed with an evaluation at The National Museum, Stockholm, of target group: young people between the ages of 16–30 who had experienced the virtual sculpture with the haptic display.
