Halina Gottlieb took part in the annual EPOCH meeting, (Excellence in Processing Open Cultural Heritage) in Pisa, Italy. She was chosen to be a member of the Executive Committee of EPOCH during the years 2006-2008. EPOCH is a network of European cultural institutions joining their efforts to improve the quality and effectiveness of the use of Information and Communication Technology for Cultural Heritage. Participants include university departments, research centres, heritage institutions and commercial enterprises, together endeavoring to overcome the fragmentation of current research in this field. Previously, Halina Gottlieb represented Sweden in the EU/Cultural Network of Excellence 2003-2004.
